The online application will ask you questions about the home and your finances and takes less than 20 minutes to complete. After your application is submitted, a loan associate will contact you to introduce themselves and to answer any questions you may have.
Every loan is assigned to a loan officer and coordinator so you will have two points of contact for questions along the way. Your loan associates are home loan experts who will provide help and guidance along the way and keep you updated on the loan process and timeline. If you are purchasing a new home, a loan associate will contact the Realtor or the seller so that they'll know who to contact with questions regarding the property.
Your loan coordinator will ensure your application is complete and includes all necessary documentation. The more complete the loan application is, the faster the loan approval will be.
The application package will contain documents for your signature and a list of items needed to verify the information you provided about your finances during the on-line application. For your convenience and to improve the funding timeline, certain loan disclosures and signatures are provided electronically. Your loan associate will provide you with log-in information and E-sign instructions.
We'll order the appraisal from a licensed/certified appraiser who is familiar with home values in your area.
Next, you will set up hazard/homeowners insurance and flood insurance if the property is in a Special Flood Hazard Area. If you are purchasing a home we'll work with the Realtor or seller to set up Escrow and title work as soon as possible. If you are refinancing, we'll take care of the title work for you.
After the appraisal has been received and final funding approval has been issued, we'll contact you to schedule your loan closing and review final loan information. The closing will take place at a Title Company or Escrow agent in your area.
That's all there is to it. Find a local loan officer or apply now and you will be on your way to the most convenient home loan ever!
