Amy Howard understands the importance of purchasing a first home. The Newport resident and self-described ‘Oregon coast girl’ spent years in banking, working with escrow accounts before making the switch to home lending. That experience provided Amy with valuable insights into families purchasing a first home or looking to buy a vacation home. Amy’s biggest strength is her ability to communicate effectively and ease her clients’ fears by removing the unknowns. Her ultimate goal is to find the perfect loan to fit each client’s financial need.

When she’s not helping you find a home loan, Amy leads a busy life. An outdoor enthusiast, Amy, along with her husband, two daughters and three dogs, love to take long walks on the beach and fish and swim. The family often travels to Montana in the summer months to spend time with extended family. When she’s not traveling, you’ll likely find Amy volunteering at the Library where she serves as a board member of the Newport Public Library Foundation
