Anita Porter

Anita Porter has been in banking and lending for nearly two decades. Along the way, she’s worked as a commercial lender, branch manager, and residential construction lender, giving her unique insights into the process of buying a home. A longtime Idaho resident, Anita specializes in construction loans and enjoys assisting clients with VA loans and refinances. A great communicator with an ability to focus on the smallest of details, Anita enjoys educating clients throughout the loan process. Whether she’s helping repair damaged credit or advising clients on paying pay down debt, Anita’s goal is always to find the best loan to suit her clients’ specific financial need.

Outside the office, Anita and her husband still live in the same Northern Idaho home they built 20 years ago. In 2008, they began raising bison on the property and continue that labor of love today. When not tending to the herd, you’ll likely find Anita and her husband creek fishing, huckleberry picking or antiquing at stores across the Pacific Northwest. An active member of the community, Anita was recently elected Board President of the Bonner Community Food Bank, an organization she has assisted in a variety of capacities for nearly a decade.
