About Winferd
Fircrest, WA

Winferd has been an integral part of the financial services industry since 2002. Prior to this, they enjoyed a successful career in the automotive industry, specifically with BMW. Currently residing in Fircrest, Washington, Winferd has called the Pierce County area home for over two decades.

Winferd’s passion lies in assisting first-time homebuyers and military personnel. As a certified lending instructor for the Washington State Housing Finance Commission (WSHFC) and a certified military home loan specialist, they are dedicated to serving the needs of the military community, especially those stationed near Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM). Recognizing the challenges of today’s housing market, Winferd helps clients navigate complexities, providing real-time solutions for homeownership.

At Umpqua, Winferd’s role involves developing sound home loan options tailored to the communities they serve. Their greatest strength lies in actively listening to clients’ visions and structuring loan solutions that not only meet but exceed expectations. Winferd’s commitment extends beyond financial matters; they address clients’ lack of quality information and business solutions, ensuring a holistic approach to their financial well-being.

In their spare time, Winferd enjoys the art of BBQ and smoking. Introduced to cooking by their mother at a young age, they find joy in culinary pursuits. Additionally, Winferd is an avid tennis player, participating in two USTA teams and serving as a USTA official. Their community involvement includes volunteering to deliver food to local pantries for the homeless twice a month and teaching through Junior Achievement programs across Pierce County. As an active member of the Women’s Council of Realtors Tacoma Pierce County, Winferd continues to make a positive impact both professionally and personally.
